At Home Dermarolling

One of my new favorite techniques for self-care at home is Derma Rolling. For those not familiar with Derma Rolling, let’s start with a quick intro. Derma Rolling consists of using a small hand help tool that looks similar to a tiny lint roller. This roller has small needles all around. The needles are very tiny, and they do not hurt or cause you to bleed. These needs help to create pathways throughout your skin that enhance skincare absorption. Derma Rolling at home is much less invasive than at the salon.

Derma Rolling is excellent for your skin! There are a multitude of benefits, which include enhanced collagen production, minimized acne scars, diminished fine lines, improved skin tone, and enhanced the absorption of skincare products. Using a Derma Roller a couple times a week is a great way to care for your skin and maintain it healthy and youthful between facials.

Now more than ever, many of us are not getting facials as often as we used to. This means we need to practice a little extra self-care for our skin at home. Derma Rolling is a great way to enhance your at-home skincare routine. It is easy, it is affordable, and it truly yields excellent results.

Before you Derma Roll at home, start by cleansing and exfoliating your skin. You do not want to use a Derma Roller on dirty skin, or skin with makeup or products on it. The idea is to prep your skin for maximum product absorption, which will yield the very best results for your skin. Once you have cleansed and exfoliated, refresh the skin with a hydrating toner. Make sure to use a TONER and not an astringent. Astringents have alcohol in them, and you certainly do not want that on your skin while you are using your Derma Roller. After applying toner, you are ready to start rolling!

When Derma Rolling, start at the eyes and work your way out. You are creating pathways for your skincare to absorb better. You want to roll in all directions. Think of creating x’s all over your skin. The one thing to be extremely careful about is to assure that you lift the Derma Roller of your skin when you change directions. If you do not, you can actually scar your skin. Do this from your neck to your forehead, and try to do it at least 4 times a week.

Derma Rolling is a great self-care routine for better skin! Its easy, easy fast, and affordable. It is a must for anyone that wants to make sure to optimize the effects of their skincare.
