I wanted to do a quick test of this eye makeup remover because I felt my go-to makeup wipes were becoming a bit harsh. Let me start out by saying that I do not have particularly sensitive skin. Despite what I use on my face, I really do not have breakouts. However, I typically use a makeup remover wipe or cold cream to take my makeup off (usually a drugstore brand) but I feel I should be using something a bit gentler as I get older.

I recently was given a bottle of Bioderma Sensibio Micelle Solution and decided to take it out for a test drive. In short: my test was a positive one. It did not irritate my contact lenses and quickly removed my eye makeup. I loved that it had no scent and literally felt like water on my eyes. It was not greasy like my usual cold cream and it worked so well that I used it to remove my face makeup as well.

I do not use waterproof mascara, so I cannot speak on the effectiveness of waterproof product removal. However, I am very impressed by the effectiveness of this product and now I am wondering how I’ve never used a micelle solution before!
