Clean Beauty is one of the hottest trends in both hair care and skin care. Always on the lookout for new clean beauty products, I stumbled upon a great line by Influencer Amber Fillerup. Dae Hair Care, is Fillerup’s clean beauty hair care line. In includes a shampoo, conditioner, deep mask treatment, and leave in conditioner. The items are currently only sold at Sephora. The price point is fair, each item costs about $24.00 for a full sized item. Below i do a quick review of the shampoo and conditioner for this line.
This past week I tried the dae shampoo and conditioner for the first time. The outside packaging is very pretty. Its simply and pretty. I am sucker for packaging. I know it truly should not matter all that much as long as the product works, however it truly does have an impact on our purchasing choices.
The smell is also very pretty. I do not mean to continue to use the same adjective…however this is truly the best way I can describe the smell and look of these products. the smell is a mix of flowers and fruit. It doesn’t smell like an actual fruit or flower, but its a light and sweet smell. Very appealing and very calming. The texture of the shampoo is satiny with this beautiful pearl pink color. The conditioner is thick and rich; which for someone like myself with dry and coarse hair this is always great.
Both products are created for all hair types and textures. They help tame frizz, maintain your color from fading, and prevent your hair from becoming dry. I love that they are made without the use of sulfates, parabens or mineral oil. This means this line is not only color safe, but also keratin safe. the ingredients include fragrant Hibiscus Flower and Daisy Extracts. This is simply a very well made clean hair care line.
My first impression of the shampoo is that it creates a nice rich lather. This is important to me because I love a nice rich lather. It makes me feel like my hair is getting very clean. Once i washed the shampoo off however, I did feel that my hair was a bit dry. I did not LOVE the dry feeling. It felt clean but dry, this may be because it is also meant to clean away excess dirt on your scalp.
After the shampoo I then applied the conditioner. Like I had mentioned before, the conditioner is really thick. Immediately that dry feeling the shampoo left went away. The dae conditioner is AMAZING. It left my hair soft, tangle free, and smelling beautifully. This totally made me so happy and made up for the shampoo maybe being a bit drying.
After I towel dried my hair, it still felt soft and looked super shiny. I then proceeded to blow dry without using any other products. This is my way of seeing what the shampoo and conditioner truly do to my hair. the results were great! I am so happy with the dae shampoo and conditioner. My hair dried fast, soft, and super shiny. This was truly a great purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone searching for a great clean beauty shampoo and conditioner.
