Brazilian Blowout

keratin-treatment

As the summer heat starts to sizzle so does our hair. For many of us, this means a lot of unruly hair and a whole lot of frizz. Not very pretty and certainly not very attractive. This is why many of us are sprinting to get a Brazilian Blowout ASAP to help control our unruly hair and allow us to look beautiful throughout the summer months.

What is a Brazilian Blowout you may ask? There are so many forms of this treatment right now, but the answer is quite simple. A Brazilian Blowout is a keratin treatment that helps to tame your frizz and infuse your hair with shine. One of my favorite keratin treatments is the Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy Express Blowout. This is a professional use product, however I have used it at home as well. If you know what you are doing it turns out great (again if you know what you are doing, otherwise please visit your local salon).

What I love about this Brazilian Blowout product is that it leaves my hair smooth, stronger and truly resistant to frizz. I can actually walk out the door when it is raining and not fear that my hair is going to expand exponentially as it would without any keratin treatment.

Maintaining your Brazillian Blowout and keratin treatment is easy enough as well. All you need is a good keratin shampoo and conditioner to maintain your hair sleek and beautiful. Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy Keratin care Shampoo and Conditioner are really great at delivering moisture, shine, and maintaining your keratin treatment longer.

The way Brazilian Blowouts work is simple. They create a keratin bond around each hair strand. This bond protects your hair from humidity, heat damage and seals in shine and smoothness. Keratin bonds also fill in any gaps that you may have in your hair shaft creating stronger and healthier hair.

The Brazilian Blowout is truly a great option, especially for summer when unruly hair gets its most unruly and hard to manage. So my advice before the summer really starts to sizzle is for you unruly haired girls and guys to visit your local salon for a keratin treatment ASAP!

“The Rainbow Comes and Goes”, an Inspiration

rainbow-comes-and-goes

I have always been a big fan of Anderson Cooper and have always been fascinated with the way he shies away from speaking of his family. For those of you who may not know (although I believe the whole world knows by now after reading, “The Rainbow Comes and Goes”), Cooper is the son of Gloria Vanderbilt. Yes, his mother is basically New York City Royalty !

Mother’s Day

noelles-son

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, most of us are running around shopping for that special mother, grandmother, teacher, stepmother, etc.…in our life. It is a day full of flowers, food, perfume, and celebration.

Having just experienced my first Mother’s Day just two years ago, I now have a new appreciation for what this day is really about. It is not about the gifts (although getting a fabulous pair of shoes or handbag on that day is always exciting). It is not about the food (however brunch at the Ritz is always great).

Baby Doll Ysl Mascara Review

I have to start this blog with a quick confession about myself. Although I am a makeup junkie that loves makeup, I am a bit lazy about makeup. I do not like foundation and therefore never wear it. I feel concealer looks cake-like so don’t use it.

I woke up today just like any other day, with my beautiful 2-year-old son in my arms looking forward to a new adventure; as each day is when you are raising a 2-year-old. As I turn on the TV I am saddened to hear about yet another terrorist attack in Europe. Terror in Brussels, as attacks on the capital of Belgian take place leaving 26 confirmed dead so far.
